Where can I get orginal colored paint?
I'm doing a small amount of body work on my truck and I would like the colors to match perfectly. My truck is a two tone Wind blue and Bahama blue. If there are any websites that you've ordered from lemme know!

The local auto paint supplier will mix paint to match a sample and then put it in rattle cans for a price. Usually works well for me. You just have to have a part you can unbolt and take in as a sample.

Any automotive paint shop can whip you up a pint / quart / gallon / buzz bomb on the description you gave. The recipe isn't a secret and they'll have the information for the correct factory color mix. An issue you will have is that your old paint isn't gonna be factory color anymore. A change in surface finish of the paint will show up also. Might want to squirt the entire side... or truck? When you say "perfectly" blending isn't that easy with regular old enamels even if by some miracle the color is dead on.HDxLoki wrote:I'm doing a small amount of body work on my truck and I would like the colors to match perfectly. Most folks aren't gonna fault you on a slightly noticable repair anyway... As long as it's clean and doesn't have rust spots they look good...

I have a small amount of rust that's an eye sore. I'm going to get rid of all the rust I can and fill it with bondo and paint over it.Bob wrote:Any automotive paint shop can whip you up a pint / quart / gallon / buzz bomb on the description you gave.
