1968 F100 Bed interchange
1968 F100 short bed. Just picked one up for my 13 yr old son. Will a 69 F250 shortbed bolt right on the F100 frame?
I have found a clean bed just dont want to get it if its not a bolt on. Both are fleetsides.

From what I have read on here it should be a direct swap. Lots of flexibility in these old rigs as well.

They are the same bed with minor exception being reflectors.

Thanks for the info. No pics. Not in my possession. Dont want to buy and it would not fit. Reflectors coming off anyway. Side marker lights to replace them

If you are doing side marker lights just get a '70-'72 bed. They came with marker lightsTimB wrote:Thanks for the info. No pics. Not in my possession. Dont want to buy and it would not fit. Reflectors coming off anyway. Side marker lights to replace them

If you have a Flex-O-Matic suspension.....your replacement box must accomidate the rear shackle. My case being that I have a 1970(longbed)frame with the FOM set up.....my replacement box is a 67 and guess what I overlooked

Just a little FYI as I've never seen that fact stated when this Question arises

I've had enough and I'm not alone
