How should I
Paint my 68 I am going to use roaly maroon and sliver but I can not get a two tone idea right in my head
either that are black and sliver which I came up with tell me your ideas and tell me which would you go for?

google 68 f100 and click on images. there should be lots of two tones to look at. usually the lighter solid color goes on the roof and below the moulding line. Are you looking for a different two tone scheme?

i like how you're painting the bump and the rockers instead of using chrome
i've seen a few trucks with the bump done in silver , 2 black ones, a seafoam green one (with a vinyl roof!) and a maroon one with a black painted roof i thought they looked pretty sharp
i've also seen a fairlane at a car show way back when that had the rockers painted to look like the chrome trim that would have been used originally ....if i ever get around too it i'm gonna attempt that on my ol' pig

- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood,some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox,behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame,rear end,rear springs,and rear bumper...
