Bed subject.

Post by Kankin »

Hi all, New here, its been a few months since I purchased my truck ( on signature ) just wanted to get some insight regarding the bed. My truck is a 69 but the bed seems is that of a 70 has the lights at the end of the bed, so was wondering since it was one of the trucks built towards the end of run in 69 could be that they used the bed from a 70? I will post a pic.

I, too, have a 1969 F250 CS with a 360 and auto trans. Built 9-11-1969. It is possible that your truck was built with a 1970 bed if it was one of the last built. Mine does not have the bedside reflectors, but anything is possible.
Welcome to the fun! :wel:

Thx for the welcome and info. I was thinking that could be the case I'm also intrigued regarding the grille which I think the truck was in an accident and they couldn't find the original Ranger grille and slapped on the regular one since this one doesn't have the red line and ranger emblem

So the fun begins in finding an original grille! :D

....or someone swapped on the box because of that scarce toolbox option...
Is the front of the box white in behind the cab, too? Nice truck.
