68 Wheel Color ?

Post by SANDHOG »

Have a 68 F250CS. Was there a standard color used on the wheels ? PO put replacements on but I do have the originals. Going to put them back on at some point. Thinking about powder coating but I have a feeling I might unthink that pretty quick once I get a price. Right now mine are gray but the spare is white and I have no idea if they were repainted at some point. Most I have seen seem to be white. Is it Wimbledon white ?

Don't know if this would help but the tires are 7.5 x 16.

According to the experts on this site, the white trim for painted bumpers and wheels was "Corinthian White", also known as "refrigerator white."

Take a look at my avatar photo and you will see the original color, an off-white with just a hint of cream color.

Hope that helps!
