Hey Guys,
I have a 1968 F 250 Camper Special 74,000 actual miles in really good shape, original paint, very little work needed but it dose have a few chips and dings it is yellow over white I cant read the paint code to buy touch up paint. Would anyone happen to have this color of truck and could tell me the paint code. the Ford dealer has no Idea.
Any help would greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Russell.

Re: Paint code
There's a few different shades of yellow used over the years, post a photo or two and let's have a look!

I would think a scotch pad or steel wool would clean up your door tag and then you can refer to this

I've had enough and I'm not alone

Re: Paint code
At my local automotive paint store they will blend paint to match a sample and even put it in "rattle cans." If you have an original painted part that you can remove, you just take it in and they do the color matching. They will probably get closer to your current paint color that way, considering fading and differences in today's paints, than using the color code.
