Keith is great about having lots of original bump ad photos on the site. I noticed that the "newer" bumps, even from 68 or 69, seemed to have whiter paint on wheels and on painted bumpers. If you look at an ad photo from 67, that same trim paint is more off white.
My 67's original trim on wheels and bumpers is not pure white.
Could this be the story behind Corinthian White v. Refrigerator White, or is it that old photos are a poor guide?

Maybe the 67's were trimmed with Wimbledon. Your truck, 91Bear, is perfect and has the same paint scheme as mine -- pebble beige, right? But look at my avatar picture -- the wheel is definitely not white-white, nor was it ever. It is not beige like the body, and more off white than eggshell.91Bear wrote:Corinthian White = refrigerator white

Your trim, like the 69s in the ads, is white white, like a refrigerator.
Love your truck.

Thanks, man. My truck is paint code 2 - Lt. Ivy Yellow. Sometimes it looks beige, sometimes yellow, sometimes greenish.
