best way to polish my grill

Post by lead foot caveman »

Ok I bought a spare grill shell recently for my 70 250...its in better shape than my original but its really oxidized and dull in spots...if I remember these grills are anodized so I can't just go buy a mothers powerball and aluminum polish..what's the best way to bring a shine back? I've heard to strip the anodization with draino then polish...I used to use eagle one wadding cloth called never dull but I'm not sure if that would work well for this

Think I read spray it with oven cleaner to remove the coating then just polish the aluminum. I gotta do the same thing to all my trim but not to that point yet.
