locking hood latch compatibility
I have a '67 F250 CS with the factory behind the grille hood latch assembly. I would like to convert it to an inside pull release. Does anyone know what year they started that type and if it will easily convert onto the '67. Thanks.

Re: locking hood latch compatibility
The '73-'79 style hood latch is completely different than the '67-72
the early latch is on the hood and the later is on the radiator support.
if you're handy you might be able to fab something up.
There are two different inside handles one locks one doesn't .
the locking one is a nuisance in my opinion., although you can bypass the key lock.
