I am new to this site. I recently bought a 69 f100. The truck is in relatively good shape. It's all original with the 360 & a T-18 4speed. I'm planning to drive it for a few years, then do a frame-off resto. I've taken the rubber mat out and used POR-15 on the floor which had some rust---nothing all the way through. I have noticed that both rear cab corners have some rust between the cab and the box--all the way through. I found that the inside of these corners has scaly rust fairly bad. The only other major spot of rust through is the passenger fender--below the battery of course.
My questions: When I restore the old girl, how do I find replacement sheet metal--besides a salvage yard? Can you find the entire back cab anywhere? I could probably get creative with some bondo, but I'd really like to have metal welded in.
I attached a pic of the pickup as well as the spot of rust through on the passenger side back of cab.
Any response is appreciated!

Re: Finding Body Parts
I bought my cab corners and inner fender well from Dennis Carpenter. Well made quality products.
