need some help with color choice for crewcab?

Guys I am going to get my crewcab painted and am trying to figure out if I want to go back with the original paint of chrome yellow. I am trading some trucks and help for the body work and paint job and I supply all paint materials. I should be in the $1000 range for materials I think. I am wondering if it would be worth the trouble to change out to another paint scheme as I like two tones my self. What do yall guys think about this and do yall have opinions on colors for my crew?

In terms of looks, without concern for an authentic restoration, here are the colors and schemes I'm most fond of on Bumpsides:

1. Black and off-white two-tone, like Bill's
2. BRIGHT yellow!
3. Light blue
4. Pink, like Bubble Gum (I know many guys dislike this color, but I think it looks fabulous on classic vehicles)
5. Orange and off-white two-tone, like Paul's

If you're interested in any of these schemes in particular I'd be happy to find photos of them.

Yes! That's what the orange/red color is that I like so much.

nice colors! I have kinda fell for the yellow so far! My main fear is all the extra work with the under truck area, under hood and small hidden areas when going with another color combo. I have it in my head that a two tone paint scheme will not work very well without the trim going down the middle of the body to cover the meeting area. I might just go with a two tone with the top one color and rest one color. I have tried to find pics of trucks with two tone with chrome yellow but have had no luck.

I think the yellow looks good on there, but then I am kind of an original color guy. I have a hard time changing colors on vehicles. Good luck.

I am thinking of painting the 68 diamond blue, but might make more sense to stick with the original anniversary gold. Whatever you really want is the color to go with. You may not be happy in the long run if you go with a color I or another suggests.

diamond blue with white top and white grill is one of my favorite options! Also going to use a 67 steel grill with a mercury tailgate!

two tone, ford winter green on bottom and pearl white on top j/k i like the yellow boss, if you like it too you should repeat
