1970 f250 mirrors

Post by kevinquirke »

Hi I just bought a 1970 F250 Camper special and the only thing that is missing on it is the mirrors. Im just wondering where they can be found because it is an all original 360 V8-4 speed manual truck and I want to have the mirrors to bring the vintage look to it.

see I don't know because the original owner had used it for 5th wheel hitch hauling. and he stuck the mirrors and tailgate up but he found the tailgate and the mirrors were lost. but I think its a 2 leg from the holes drilled.

Kevin,
Two sets of bolt holes means you'll be looking for a set of "West coast Jr" mirrors. Here's an example of a search engine I used:

You might also want to post an ad here for "West Coast Jr" mirrors:

I have noticed the prices for these mirrors are all over the place on evil bay, Seen a set sell for over $400 and another for $35, There is a set on there now for around $200. What makes one more valuable than the other? I ask because I recently got a project, a 69 w/302, a parts truck and a bunch of extras. I have two set's of the Jr's, one set marked fomoco and one set marked ford. I'm only gonna need one and want to keep the more desirable for my self and probably get rid of the other.

Thanks

My Mistake, I just went and looked at them again, (closer), They both say fomoco but one set is script or cursive (looks like a ford emblem), and the other is block style. Same question though.
