While we're on the subject of bedside toolbox

Post by DCrusher »

I bought a bedside toolbox a while back JUST THE BEDSIDE TOOOLBOX and DOOR MINT SHAPE. I do not have one in my so I was thinking it would be easy to find a patch panel or something that I could make or weld in BUT guess what their harder than I thought to find one A REAL OPTION WOW. SO now I'm to the point of building a buck form and make my own frame... So my question is ANYBODY have a better idea to how to accomplish this. I'm on the final stages of body work and I really wanted to get this done before paint but I was so disgusted with looking and trying to find a work around that I put it on the shelve for right now... ANY IDEA's would be appreciated...

Might be a longshot, but a trip to the Pacific Northwest, and you'd surely find that panel.
Try a Craigslist search for Portland, there's a seller who always has several 67-72's he's parting out. He might be convinced to ship.

Here's a start: 1972 Ford in auto parts, Portland Craigslist.
