So, I bought a set of cab corners way back when California mustang was selling of there truck parts. These are the cheap imports and are pretty crappy...
So wanting better parts I order a set from DC. Get a call next day and there out of one side and its gonna be two month before they have anymore. Just canceled the order..
Search the internet and find Schott makes a good looking part, made in USA. Surplus supply sells the for $85 apiece. Double what everyone else sells them for. Find a ebay store selling them for $79 or B/O. So offer $65 and they take it.. Get them today and they look like they where made by a six year old.. Heavier material the the imports, but there terrible! ! For $65 there definately going back.
Please share your experience and were you got yours. Im thinking to get the one side from DC and just wait till the other comes in... Unless someone comes up with another source of GOOD parts.

Re: Tell me about your cab corners
I've looked at there's but wanted some feedback first.
How's the bottom outer corners look. The imports I have one in ok, the other is really wrinkled.
The Schott panels looks like they used rocks to form them..

Re: Tell me about your cab corners
Doing a google search brings up a bunch of different sellers, but most are probably from the same manufacturer such as Goodmark or Sherman.. Most you see are the same generic picture but different prices.

Re: Tell me about your cab corners
Now here's the Schott (made in USA) panels that sell for around $80... you would think well made parts.. Looks like it was this guys first day on the job...
Corner releifs over cut..

body line exist on one side, then fades out..

the two bottom channels... almost got put there...

Then the Taiwan.. Better overall..Not as bad, but this corner..

So I've been working this one with a hammer and dolly... looking better but if someone can tell me if there's better ones out there, let me know..
