Arm rest

I'm sure this is a very common problem, one of the few things wrong with the interior paint is were you put your arm when the window is rolled down. I was thinking when I paint the truck of doing the small sections by the window inside and out with bedliner or some other more resilient paint. Has anyone done this or does anyone have any ideas what kind of paint would work best?
