Help with paint code on 68 f100

My vin tag has a paint code of #3, but on the decoding the vin tag listing on this web site there is no choice #3 to be found. Can anyone explain this to me.

did you click the thumbnail to the bottom left of paint code column. There is a #3 in the color chart.

I not sure what your talking about. I was speaking about goin to the tech tab and then to the Vin code decoder for a 68 and i don't see what your talking about. What thumbnail and 3 do you see there?

I see it now, that thumbnail is under the 69 vin decoder list and it has paint codes for different years. I thought that was just for 69's. Thanks guys.
