what I need to know is there a temporary fix that I could do?
Reading through the forums I seen were "previous owners have fixed them up using 1X4 pieces of wood or metal" . no one ever stated that this would be a good temp fix. With the front drivers side of the cab resting on the frame in need to do something fast.

What I do not get if I put some wood between the frame and the cab , would that not put stress on the floor pan on the side of the wood causing it to bend?
The fix I need would to last about a month until I get time off of work to fix it. Were I work at in the southern mountains along the Oregon coast. I would not want to drive my other vehicle on the the logging roads. The roads are not too bad as bumps are concerned just need clearance to get through the ruts.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to have to drive it this way anymore than I have to.
