Rare 1970 F100 Styleside?

Post by Slimy »

My friend tells me the Styleside usually only came in the LWB. I have a 115. Is it rare? It is original according to the VIN.

The main problem with the production numbers I have found listed is no breakout for the different wheelbases. I would not consider it rare unless you consider a 40 yr old truck that runs & drives rare. Our truck is a '70 & while there will be differences in the yrs I consider the group & there seems to be plenty of SWB Styleside trucks available for purchase.

I do find it hard to believe, though, with all the Stylesides produced in 1970 they would not be able to tell how many were 115 and 131. This info has got to be out there somewhere.
