Another POR15 question

Post by flyboy71 »

To cover the truck frame with a decent coating would I need the quart or gallon size? I've heard a little goes a long way on the stuff and I don't wanna buy more than I need. Thanks!

Spray or brush? I sprayed mine and one quart covered one coat completely and a second coat complete except for last 3 feet of frame rail and rear crossmember. I prefer two light coats to a single, heavy coat. Regardless, two quarts is big plenty. No need for the whole gallon for just the frame. If you're going to do more parts though, go ahead and get the gallon. It seems to go farther than 4 individual quarts.

Wow ok thats good stuff. I heard the stuff goes a long way. Ill snag a quart then and see how I make out. Ill probably brush it on for this frame. My other one will go powder coat.
