camper special box side tool box patch pannels

I was at a swap meet recently and bought a 1967-1972 camper special box side tool box, I have three f250s, a 68,69,and 70 none of them are camper specials, but I was going to put this box on either my 69 or 70, both of which need body work and paint. It's not the entire pickup box, just the tool box assembly, I know they are suppose to sit in a stamped recess in the box side so its not as simple as just cutting a hole in the box, so I was wondering if anyone has found box side patch pannels for a camper special with that stamping, I briefly looked at lmc and Npd and haven't found anything, have a few other places to check but I don't think ill have any luck, if I can't find one my other option will be to fabricate something. Might possibly be able to cut the hole in the box a little small, then slit the corners and bend the flaps in a little to make a recess, then weld the slits in the corners and grind them down.

There is a guy here in IN with a parts truck that has that box you speak of unless the Camper Special is different for some reason. He may be willing to cut the portion of the bed out you need & ship it. If you are interested send me a PM with your contact info & I will forward it to him.
