It should be fairly simple to fabricate your own custom tire carrier/mount/bracket, and custom fit it to your bed where ever you want it, in whatever position you want it.

They were popular back a few years (maybe more than a few). You might try JC Whitney for one new.

Thanks guys.Thought I saw something on this site awhile back about a stock Ford bed mount.......must have been a senior moment!
Since I don't have any fabing skills I may go with the JCWHITNEY unit @ $41.99.Supposed to mount easy(no drilling)and it's lockable.
Appreciate the suggestions.
Thanks again guys!

There was a stock Ford one that a few people have shown on here from time to time. Someone even sold one once that I remember. But they were not common and dont come up very often. I ran a $24 one that I bought from JC Whitney or somewhere online and it worked just fine. MIght even be the one you are talking about because it also was no drilling and is lockable (padlock). Price shop that design around online a bit because I remember seeing it for $50 and then found the exact same one for under $25.

Anyway, it worked just fine and is probably what I will be running when I finish the crew as well.

I have an NOS one still in the bag... Not for sale, and I am not bragging, just letting you know in case you wanted pics.

I got it of evilbay a couple of years ago.
