Inner cab corner panels from DC

Post by 67nukeford »

I sent an email to Dennis Carpenter, asking them if they've ever considered remanning the inner panel for the cab corners on our trucks. I know I certainly could use a set, I'm going to have to patch mine up myself. They responded by saying there hasn't been any demand for them.

What I'm wondering, how many of you would be interested in them re-popping these panels? I think it would be a huge help if these were available!

I want to get enough replies here and on another site, to send them the links, and show them that these would be worth making.

Inner cab corners would be awesome. It would make my restoration alot easier and cheaper for that matter. Mark me down for two.

I would've bought 2 in a heartbeat, it really was a hurdle in time to find someone willing to cut them out and send them to me. Even then, they needed some attention. They sure seem like they'd be easy parts to stamp, but who knows what kind of development money would be involved for DC. My brother's truck will need them as well. Every truck I've looked at (5 in our family) and countless trucks in salvage yards here in the Midwest, they all rot in the inner panels.

Good Luck Pat!
