hood alignment
Attached are some pictures of my hood. The passenger side seems to line up fine with the fender and cowl. The driver side not so much. What's going on here?

Re: hood alignment
i think a lot of that not so perfect body work comes from factory that way along with run in paint in hidden areas, bondo that was not sanded even,carpet and mats that had cut errors and i guess body alignment. It's the small things i caught while disassemble of my bump.

Re: hood alignment
when doing alignments one starts with the biggest piece that won't move... in this case, the cab.
Then align the hood to the cab. Since the body lines here are fixed, (creases in the hood/cowl) you have to make a lot of compromises as to fit. Average them out so it looks the same for both sides.
Follow that with the grill/rad support.
Next, the fenders. (if they are aftermarket you will have a lot of fun...
)
Finally the doors.
