Welding up bed stakes?

Post by cole71 »

Just wondering if anyone has welded up there bed stake holes on top of the bed? Pros and cons?

Also, if anyone has pics of this it would be greatly appreciated. Thinking of welding them up on my short bed.

Thanks, Cole

I've done it before on my 99 ram and my 95 F150. The crew I'm building will be shaved too. Looks great in my opinion.

Yeah kind of what I was hoping to hear. I'll never haul anything and ill certainly never need bed stakes.

Did you have pics of this in your build? (really liked your truck by the way, been keeping up with the build).
