Bed braces

Post by BlueovalFE »

The two braces that fit between the bed of the truck and frame have disappeared and I need to find two more. I put new panels in the floor of my shortbed and cut the old braces off, which took hours with a spot weld cutter and an air chisel. I'm afraid they were put in the scrap pile when I was doing the 4-link and got hauled off :( Anyone know where I can find two more?

Or maybe BOTP / NPD / or DC?
Would be a pain to try to salvage those from another good bed I bet!

I did look at DC and NPD but didn't find anything. Didn't see it the link you sent either. And I would need a cordless saws all and a hell of a drill to take one off in a salvage yard, even if I did find an old bumpside.

Thanks for the link though!

I found what I was looking for, I think. The guy was very helpful over the phone.

Thanks for that link. Mill Supply has some good stuff in stock for our old iron.
