Looking to start picking up my paint supplys and was wondering if there was a place on line, where I could get a good brand paint and all the related products.
Also how much of each color do I need to repaint? I'll attach a pic so you can see the areas.
Has anyone bought paint online?

I swear by Eastwood for online paint. I haven't tried any of their finish coats but I've used a lot of their POR-15 and Gloss Chassis Black and am very satisfied with the results. http://www.eastwood.com/paints/automoti ... shing.html

i have been wondering the same thing. I have gave it look online and seems i can get good paint and affordable price But have not check on the shipping charges. I think i am going with TCP.com when i'm ready. Not knowing about the shipping charges yet it might be cheaper to go to local paint store.

I buy from a store on Ebay called Auto Paint they also use the name paintforcars, It is reasonable and comes with thinner, hardner and everything you need. It sprays good, Ive used it on some of my dump trucks and is pretty durable. They have a pretty good selection of colors too.

I just go to the local auto paint store and buy DuPont or PPG.

Don't forget a deal isn't a deal if it looks like hell in a couple of years.
Check out the cost of a good quality paint so that you can compare. You have to see what you will gain and what you risk. If you will only save $100 but you sacrifice the quality will it really be a good deal? you will need about a litre for the lower and a litre and a half for the top. (that is if you are using a gun with a 1.3-1.4 tip). I am assuming that you are after a single stage paint?

Re: Has anyone bought paint online?
I got some paint to do the bumper on my 08 Focus from this place: http://www.paintscratch.com/. The paint looked good when I sprayed it, but I screwed it up when I put the bumper back on my car. They only list colors for the Mustang and T-bird for '67-'69, but have truck colors for '70 and up. If you have paint codes they might be able to hook you up. I think they shipped me PPG brand Deltron paint and some generic clear coat. All I needed was to go and buy the proper thinner.
