Hanging tailgate handle

Hanging tailgate handle
Any suggestions on how to straighten a hanging tailgate handle? Instead of being horizontal, mine sags on the left side...

Could you post a picture? So you are saying that the tailgate release handle is loose so it doesn't sit horizontal?

Yea that's pretty much what it was...I just took the handle off and added some washers to kinda shim it up and level it out..
