Wing Window seal ?

Wing Window seal ?
When replacing the wing window seal do i need to rivvet the flat side to the frame like the factory did? The seal that I ordered from LMC did not come with any rivets or holes to rivet through

i will be gluing mine on with DAP butyl-rubber flashing a gutter seal caulk. I experimented with this caulk around the rear wheel wells, really flexible, strong and paintable.
