I'm looking for any information for my 72 350 paint color. It was a custom color that Ford has no record of and there is not a code on the door label. I know it was called National Oil Red. It is an orange/red color. If anyone has anything to offer on this please let me know. This is a grain/farm/ag truck with a tilt bed.

If the color is still on the truck you can take it to an auto body paint store and they should have a camera that will actually take a picture of the paint and analyze all the colors it takes to make that specific color. They will more than likely have to play around with the color that they mix and tint it to your satisfaction.

I was aware of that option, but was trying to find any information regarding that specific paint. I contacted Ford and they don't even have record of it. It just seems odd that anything to do with it has evaporated. I know this truck was the show truck for the Indiana State Fair for that year and we are the second owner. Appreciate the idea though!!
