Farm and Ranch special

Post by BigIslandBump »

quick question. can you put a bed on a farm and ranch special? looking for a 4x4 bumpside in arizona. found a farm and ranch special flat bed and wondering if you can swap out the flat bed with a regular long bed (seeing as the frame looks longer then a short bed)

If it is a single rear wheel, which I assume it is, then I believe the answer is yes. Afiak, they did not manufacture any chassis cab single wheen trucks back then so all pickups where built with a bed. That would mean that someone has replaced the bed with that flatbed and you can easily change it back.

Is this a 4x4 farm and ranch special? I didn't know they made those.

farm and ranch special basically was a trim package. and the styleside bed had wooden side board from the factory added into the stake pockets. so they were removeable sideboards.
