Color Question

Post by Slimy »

I have a 69F100 with original paint in good condition, but it does not match the color swatches. Somebody told me it was probably a special issue, such as for the Ag Dept. We call the color "snot", to give you a hint. Is this likely or has age so defiled the coloring?

Age and oxidation will definitely pale the color so with a little elbow grease and buffing you might see a totally different look.

Here is an example of what some good old fashioned 'elbow grease' applied can look like http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... 22&t=42567

Our brother Killakobra did an outstanding job resurrecting his truck's paint. It's hard to believe it's the same truck.
