budget door seals

Post by lobuck76 »

In case anyone hasn't thought of this. I replaced the door seals in the '71 with a set from a mid '90's f150. They fit up quite nicely. Just had to trim the length a little. Cost: $15 at the boneyard. :D

Thanks! Good timing, I was just about to order the $50 LMC set..... I wonder about glass runs? I need those too.

I haven't ever tried the window channels. I bet the only way you could get them is if they had already sold the glass out of the door. :hmm:

Figure I bump this up. I also (hear) that an 03 Chevy fit as well. Just have to trim them up.
