bed side storage box
I have one of those bed side storage boxes on my truck that has a damaged hinge so the door doesn't lie flush... Does anyone sell parts for this? Anyone repair this door using replacement hinges? What did you use? Thanks for help on this!

Re: bed side storage box
Thanks Fordman. Did not find any on Ebay. Would also prefer to fix or replace just the hinge since the door itself is in very good shape... time is also a factor since the truck will get painted next week.

Re: bed side storage box
Got one that'll hold a completely disassembled long wheel base F100 and double as a paint booth? Sorry for the interruption 390bump! Anybody got any specs on that hinge? We buy a lot of different sizes of piano hinge at work, 6ft sticks. Got some good sources and I can probably find about any size you're looking for. This is a good source and tells you to typically measure piano hinge. http://www.mcmaster.com/#piano-hinges/=eg89tw

Was able to fix it by putting in a new "rod" - really just a long piece of wire... Good as new now
