Here is a quick photo edit I did to see what a 2 inch drop looks like. This is my favorite. It shows step 1 in the process. With a simple 1 1/4 front coil cut and a half flip on the rear, total cost is just rental for an angle grinder and a few bolts. I would say less than $50 easy. Plus labor of course, but it IS a labor of love.



Here it is with 17s and the Grabber Blue & White Paint. I call this pic, "Someday".

Not a true Grabber Blue. It is a little darker, but I like it.

I cannot take too much credit for my Bump. Ford did it all, 29,154 miles ago. That and 30+ years in a barn in dry west Texas helped.

Don't rent a grinder... get a 19.99 4.5" from HF and you will have one...

I was messing aroung with Gimp and thought this one looked GOOD.
The straight lines on the top and right side of pic are to keep things lined up. I just used the free hand tool to select only the body and some white back ground above it , then copy it, then used the "Paste as... New Layer".

A 2.5 to 3 inch drop is all I was going for. I do not want a low rider, it just needs to have the wheel openings filled up.




This one motivates me to get-er-done!!!!

There is also another program you can use. Paint.net is the name of it, its what i use and it makes it easy.

Hey lee_ford,

I really like that Cranberry Candy (not sure what the actual name is).
It and Baby Blue and White are my favorite two tone paint jobs.
